Monday Motivation

Thus my Monday Motivation is finding things that make me happy today. Like this photo of Matt Bomer wearing next to nothing on the beach meditating. This is how I am starting off my Monday and now because of me, so are you.
As I navigate the journey that is today I am going to focus on everything that there is to be happy about, and pay it forward with good vibes only.
Seeing this image of delicious Matt looking oh so tranquil on a peaceful stretch of sand is a great kick off point.
It's giving me what I need right here, right now. Then when I move on with my day it will be time to find some other Monday Motivation to bring back the happy. I am up for the challenge, you???

Tunesday Tuesday!
Happy St. Patrick's Day! I know we are all pretty much confined to our respective dwellings, but if you want to celebrate you can. Seriously, why can't you party with your bad self at home?
So here is a throwback sort of Tunesday Tuesday song that I am sure is in everyone's topical minds. It's The Knack performing My Sharona. When the Corona Virus first hit I, like many of you, wondered when someone was going to parody this song and insert Corona for Sharona. Admit it, you know you did!
While I have seen many memes to this effect, no one, yet has to do an actual song parody. Too soon probably since we are in the thick of it.

Today I am channeling Lizzo celebrating her sister's Birthday from the happiest place on earth, Disneyland! I was there just two weeks ago and had a grand time, and "Yes" like Lizzo, I got happy!
With all the strife going on in the world around us, please remember to do the one thing that counts most, make yourself and others smile, everyone, smiles.

In case you haven't put the pieces together today's Monday Motivation is to smile. Honestly it's been a rough go for me of late recovering from surgery with three more weeks left to go. This being stated one of the things that has kept me buoyant is my ability to smile at random people I see out and about.
This makes them and yourself feel good 😃
So let's kick off this week with a goal to smile at everyone you make eye contact with this week. Trust me it isn't that difficult and it's a gift that keeps on giving and it doesn't cost a thing except use of your jaw muscles.

Seriously though, if I can hold myself accountable anyone can hold themselves accountable too. I am a wild beast who is hard to tame, even for me.
Teddi is my spirit animal heading into the week and all the Monday Motivation I need to remind me of how hard I have worked. She and I share being on the shorter side height wise and tipping the scales at over 200 lbs.
We both dropped the weight and got our booty's in killer shape, and we both just keep getting better!
Woot! There it is!

Needless to say the conversation got me Jon Hamm dreamin' - "Yes" I started thinking about the sexy guy with the um, special delivery between his legs.
Thus here he is in retro swim trunks during the shooting of Mad Men, one of my favorite TV Shows evuh.
What's that? How is he Monday Motivation? Because Hamm's body is a hot regular guys body, not overly pumped but in good shape. Something that is attainable.
Having lost 40 lbs. recently having a body like his is my current goal, one I have almost reached.

Let's get this week off to a roaring start with a too good to be true photo of, well music and acting royalty. Do you think you are worthy? Of course you do.
It's Mary J. Blige and Viola Davis at the Hollywood Film Awards in Beverly Hills, CA.
Once in a while there is an rare opportunity to get two greats in one terrific photo, this is one of those times.
By the way how about this season of How To Get Away With Murder? While I have always enjoyed the show I never felt it had reached it's full potential until the current season.
Breaking up Annalise Keating and her pet students was the masterstroke the series needed. It is much more fascinating to see everyone fending for themselves to some degree than as a unified front IMHOP.
